Welcome

to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church

A Home for African American Catholics in Bexar County

Welcome!

On behalf of our Pastor, Father Kevin Fausz, CM, VU, we would like to welcome you to the Parish Website for Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

The Parish of Holy Redeemer is a unique spiritual home for African American Catholics in Bexar County. We are a welcoming community that reflects the ethnicity and cultural diversity of the Church of Texas and its people to whom we are bound in baptism in Jesus Christ.

We commit ourselves to ongoing spiritual growth through prayer, reflection, liturgical action, fellowship, increasing involvement, and the utilization of gifts of our parishioners to do good in God’s name.

Support Our Parish Ministries

Your contributions help support the operations and ministry of our parish community, including much of our outreach work to those who live on the East Side of San Antonio. If you would like to contribute, please feel free to mail in your contributions to the parish, or drop them off at the parish office. If you want to explore Online Giving, we have partnered with GiveCentral for our Online Giving Efforts. You can make a donation using GiveCentral by clicking the button below.

Support the Archbishop's Appeal

We invite you and your family to participate in this year's Archbishop Appeal for Ministries by offering a sacrificial gift as your circumstances permit. Your gift will help form priests and deacons to serve you, your family, and individuals locally. Proceeds raised from the Appeal will be used to prepare lay leaders to serve as catechists in our parish religious education prgrams, offer a Catholic education to followers in need, and share Christ's love as it feeds, clothes, shelters, and cares for the most vulnerable. If you would like to contribute to the Archbishop's Appeal, please click this link or text the word APPEAL to (210) 750-6712.
